Background: Welcome to the Révay family

The Rococo-Classical Castle was built during the second half of the 18th century by the Révay family. Since then, the castle has been through many changes – after the Second World War, it was used as a dormitory and has been used as a backdrop for various TV series. Unfortunately, it has had to endure a fire. Today it is fully renovated and used as a luxury hotel that is fully accessible for handicapped people.

Perfect setting for weddings

The uniqueness of the Castle lies in its beauty and rich history as well as being located adjacent to the English park that has an area of ​​16.5 hectares (one of the largest parks in central Slovakia). It includes a neo-gothic chapel and Art Nouveau house (now used as a wellness centre). Nowadays, the Castle and the park are a protected area and a historical landmark. It is a perfect place to not only relax undisturbed but also for the various events that are held here. Salons and accommodation

The Castle has several lounges, but for weddings, the Gold-Rococo salon is the most popular venue. Its walls are decorated with golden ornaments and there is a majestic crystal chandelier. Central to this salon is a unique white stove. Part of the Golden salon is used as a lounge and dance floor for wedding ceremonies. The seating capacity of the round tables is up to 110 guests. Hotel rooms are spacious as well. A wide wooden staircase in the entrance hall provides access to two floors, where deluxe, double and single rooms are located.
"Our accommodation capacity is 52 beds and 22 extra-beds. But we are able to provide other accommodation facilities in the nearby premises for another 25 persons" says Mr. Patrick Bagoňa, the director of Mošovce Castle.

“What do you need for a perfect wedding?" The perfect wedding day is down to three main factors," explains Mr. Bagoňa. "Firstly, the selection of the right place for the wedding ceremony and subsequent buffet meal. This also includes the right decorations which relate to a given space. The quality of the cuisine is also very important as well as the professional and skilled staff providing the service. Finally, the whole organisation of the event and entertainment is extremely crucial."

Wedding desserts, cookies, cakes, chocolate truffles and all sorts of chocolate specialties are handmade by our "Maitre Chocolateur" (Chocolate Chef), who is guaranteed to satisfy the most demanding guests.
